Job Description:
A company is looking for an Assistant Controller to oversee the
accounting team and ensure accurate financial reporting in the
Property and Casualty Insurance sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage month-end and year-end close processes for accurate
financial reporting
Prepare and review US-GAAP financial statements ensuring regulatory
compliance
Lead and mentor the accounting team while driving process
improvements
Qualifications:
8-10 years of accounting experience, with 3-5 years in a leadership
role in insurance or financial services
Strong understanding of US-GAAP and financial reporting
standards
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is
required
CPA preferred; additional certifications are a plus
Experience with public accounting and audits is highly
preferred
