Backed by a16z, this innovative company sits at the intersection of AI search and knowledge discovery, experiencing remarkable 20% week-over-week growth despite being early in their U.S. market expansion.The OpportunityJoin a nimble team of 40 where your impact will be immediately visible and valued. This role offers the unique chance to build and lead a marketing organization from the ground up, working directly with the CEO and Head of U.S. to drive hypergrowth in the American market.The RoleThe Head of Marketing will be instrumental in scaling this high-potential AI product in the U.S. B2C market. This position offers the opportunity to:

• Architect and execute a comprehensive growth strategy focused on user acquisition and engagement
• Build and lead a high-performing marketing team across digital marketing, content, SEO, and brand
• Establish the marketing infrastructure and tech stack needed for hypergrowth
• Drive community-focused initiatives, including student ambassador programs and university partnerships
• Collaborate directly with leadership to shape and challenge strategic direction
• Manage cross-cultural teams and communication between U.S. and Korean officesRequired Qualifications
  • 7+ years of marketing leadership experience, with emphasis on B2C growth in the U.S. market
  • Proven track record in scaling digital products and driving hypergrowth
  • Deep experience building and managing marketing teams in fast-paced environments
  • Fluency in both English and Korean
  • Experience establishing marketing infrastructure, growth strategies, and acquisition channelsPreferred Qualifications
    • Knowledge of the U.S. academic market
    • Experience working with or interest in AI/ML products
    • Track record of success in venture-backed startupsLocation & TravelPosition can be based in either San Francisco or Seoul, with the long-term goal of establishing a U.S.-based marketing organization. Regular travel between offices should be expected.Compensation & Benefits
      • Base Salary: $170,000 - $250,000
