Job Description:
Let's be real-AI isn't magic; it's a tool, and its strength
comes from the systems, workflows, and, most importantly, the
people behind it. At Yurts, we're unlocking hard-to-find,
unstructured data that was previously out of reach and simplifying
access to structured systems that once required expert help. The
result? A secure, knowledge platform that's actually designed to
serve people-wherever they work.Born from a partnership with the
Department of Defense to meet the demands of mission-critical
environments, Yurts is redefining how teams harness AI for
productivity and performance. Named after the resilient, adaptable
yurt, our platform is designed to work with the systems you use-not
replace them.In collaboration with Nvidia, HPE, and Oracle we offer
secure, innovative solutions, including air-gapped deployments for
defense, a full ML ops and analytics framework to drive cost
efficiencies and a world-class proprietary RAG system serving
answers you can trust. Yurts unifies applications, data, and
workflows protecting investments and saving customers money. We're
looking for bold thinkers and doers to join us in redefining how
teams harness AI for productivity and performance. Be part of
building solutions that elevate both technology and the people who
use it. Together, we'll shape the next generation of secure,
human-centered AI innovation.Why We're Hiring This Role:At Yurts,
we're entering an exciting new chapter. After closing our Series B
funding, we're building a high-impact team to accelerate growth-and
we're looking for a driven, innovative Product Marketing Manager to
join us as one of the early hires on our marketing team. This is a
unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of our
go-to-market strategy, with significant autonomy and ownership in a
fast-growing company at the forefront of AI innovation. In this
role, your main responsibility will be using a deep understanding
of our customers and their needs to define and communicate our
unique selling proposition (USP) and bring our products to market.
Beyond positioning, you'll be at the helm of creating the most
compelling content to help our audience understand use cases and
our value proposition, generating collateral alongside our sales
team, and bringing the voice of the customer back to our
engineering team. It also means that while this is a senior-level
role, you'll be expected to roll up your sleeves and ship often
rather than living in the clouds.Role Responsibilities:
- Strategic Product Positioning:
- Develop and execute strategic product positioning and messaging
that clearly articulates the unique value proposition of our AI
technology products in the market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement
effective go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature
updates, ensuring seamless coordination between marketing, sales,
and product development teams.
- Customer Insights and Feedback:
- Proactively gather customer feedback and insights through
surveys, interviews, and data analysis, using this information to
refine product messaging and identify opportunities for product
enhancements.
- Work closely with the sales and customer success teams to
understand customer pain points and preferences, translating
insights into actionable strategies to enhance customer
satisfaction and loyalty.
- Content Creation and Thought Leadership:
- Create compelling and informative marketing collateral to
educate customers, prospects, and partners about our AI technology
solutions, including product guides, case studies, whitepapers, and
presentations.Required Qualifications:
- Significant Experience as a Product Marketer
- Significant experience (eg. 5+ years) in developing and
executing successful product marketing strategies, including market
analysis, positioning, and messaging, preferably in the context of
B2B SaaS products.
- Experience With a Technical Product
- You'll need to have worked with a highly technical product in
the past. Yurts is a Generative AI product, and the technology
itself is highly complex. While our users can be anyone at an
enterprise, the decision-makers involved in bringing Yurts to their
company (e.g., CTOs, and CIOs) are often quite technical, and you
will need to be able to communicate comfortably with them.
- Experience Working at an Early-Stage Startup
- Yurts is early-stage, which means many things have yet to be
figured out. You'll need to be comfortable operating in that kind
of environment. If you have only worked as part of a large
marketing organization with a lot of resources, this is likely not
a good fit for you.
- Analytical Skills
- Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in using data
analytics tools to interpret marketing data, assess campaign
performance, and derive actionable insights.
- Experience with market research techniques, including surveys,
customer interviews, and competitive analysis, to gather meaningful
insights and shape marketing strategies.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the
ability to craft compelling marketing content and present complex
technical information in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional
teams, including product development, sales, and customer support,
fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.Preferred
Qualifications:
- Understanding of AI technologies, machine learning concepts,
and their applications in real-world scenarios.
- Proficiency in creating and managingmulti-channel marketing
campaigns and sales enablement materials. Leveraging digital
marketing, social media, email marketing, and other platforms to
reach target audiences effectively.Equal Opportunity StatementYurts
