Join our team, where your expertise will drive cutting-edge solutions, address complex technical challenges, and uphold the highest standards of precision and safety.As a Product Applications Engineer you'll be the key technical expert ensuring that global Consumer Electronics customers maximize the value of our world-class optical metrology solutions through expert pre- and post-sales support.Key Responsibilities:

• Customer-Facing Expert: Become a go-to technical resource for global Consumer Electronics customers, mastering Zygo's optical metrology instrumentation to address their specific metrology challenges.
• Application Growth Strategy: Collaborate with Account Managers to develop tailored application strategies that drive growth for key customer accounts.
• Global Coordination: Lead the global rollout of key projects by training and supporting Zygo's regional Applications and Service teams to ensure consistency and quality worldwide.
• Sales Support: Assist the sales team by performing sample measurements, providing instrument demonstrations, and generating detailed measurement reports for customers.
• Onsite Customer Training: Deliver personalized onsite training for customers and support industry events such as trade shows, technical meetings, and conferences.Required Skills:
  • Knowledge of optical metrology systems and precision instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with optical modeling, CAD, and programming languages like Python.
  • Ability to simplify and clearly present complex technical information to customers.
  • Experience in managing customer relationships, providing technical support, and acting as a liaison during the sales process.Qualifications:
    • Degree in Optics, Physics or Engineering
    • 3-5 years of experience in consumer electronics, extended reality, IoT, semiconductors, or optics.
