Job Overview:Associate Quality Engineer - TechnologyKeurig Dr
Pepper is seeking an Associate Quality Engineer who can develop and
implement techniques to ensure the solution works as intended and
doesn't have any critical errors.As an Associate Quality Engineer,
you will---
- Assist with verifying and validating whether products/solutions
meet specified requirements.
- Work towards quality assurance objectives and processes,
monitoring and evaluating testing results against the predetermined
objectives, and applying recommended actions for improvements on a
single initiative or small components of multiple initiatives.
- Work closely with development teams to design testing
strategies and integrate testing into the development process.
- Support testing (e.g., regression, functional, data validation,
system integration, load, or performance tests) for new and
existing functionality.
- Execute, and automate test cases, work with developers and
other stakeholders.
- Document and analyze test results and recommend corrective
action.
- Research, recommend, and learn to implement new testing
technologies and practices, such as incorporating machine
learning.
- Collaborate and share lessons learned regarding performance and
reliability issues with all stakeholders including developers,
other SREs, operations teams, and project management teams.
- Support more senior engineers in managing DevOps capabilities
using continuous integration/continuous delivery toolsets and
automation.
- Focus on learning and growing skill sets to enhance autonomy in
testing and development processes.Who you are:
- Basic knowledge of system dev. life cycle (SDLC) methodologies
(e.g., waterfall, spiral, SAFe, agile, rapid prototyping,
incremental, synchronize and stabilize and DevOps)
- Basic knowledge of different types of testing (e.g.,
functional, performance, and other nonfunctional tests).
- Basic knowledge of coding practices, concepts, and design
patterns to create maintainable test frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of DRY principles (Remove and deter the
creation of repeating code) and SOLID principles (Object-oriented
principles to create decoupled, clean code) to create, review and
refactor code.
- Basic knowledge of testing frameworks and tools and test
automation frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of types of database structures, types of
relationships in a database and types of DBMSs,
NoSQL/non-relational databases, and CRUD operations.
- Developing accessibility and automation testing skills.
- Ability to develop holistic testing strategies and select the
right testing frameworks.
- Ability to frequently and incrementally deliver applications
with high quality.
- Ability to create effective and meaningful tests by
understanding the needs of all stakeholders.
- Ability to report the KPI and metrics established in the
testing strategy.
- Ability to create, generate and maintain test data and
databases.
- Ability to creatively troubleshoot problems and work with
cross-functional teams.
- Ability to communicate technical information to other technical
team members but also to coworkers in other departments who may not
have knowledge of networking technical terminology.Total Rewards:

- Bachelor's degree in related field (e.g., Computer Engineering,
Information Systems, etc.) or equivalent combination of education
and work experience.
- Typically, 3+ years of experience.
- Must have 3+ years of DSD industry experience
- Should have strong analytical, critical thinking, process
modeling and decision making skills
- Native-level proficiency/fluent in English.
- Experience working in DevOps and Agile technology environments.
