NA VAS Issuing Solutions-Product Strategy ManagerVisa's
Value-Added Services division (VAS) is one of the three core
revenue growth drivers for the company. VAS enable Visa's clients
to deliver secure, reliable and convenient payments experiences for
their customers. In fiscal year 2024, VAS revenue grew by 22%, and
our top 265 largest clients now use on average 22 VAS solutions.The
NA VAS - Issuing Solutions team is accountable for financial and
operational performance of Issuing Solutions in North America. More
specifically, the Manager of Foundational Solutions will partner
with Global and Regional Product and NA Sales teams to help tell
the story of how Visa's foundational service offerings, such as our
Debit Processing Services (DPS), other offerings, and partnerships
come together to solve client needs/use cases and drive telling of
this story through various channels (critically including direct
client conversations). This individual will also work closely with
other leaders across the team to provide real-time market insights,
intake and triage client needs and coordinate roadmaps, and share
feedback on ongoing go-to-market efforts. This position can be
based in the San Francisco Bay area with minimal travel expected.
The role reports to the Senior Director, Issuing Solutions for
North America.Job DescriptionThe role will support the Senior
Director of NA Issuing Solutions across a range of strategy,
commercialization, operations, and planning activities. Time spent
on these areas will shift based on business needs. The Manager will
own workstreams of key strategic initiatives (e.g., long-range
strategy development, voice of the client insights, sales
enablement) and ensure the North America VAS leadership team is
equipped with the data and insights to meet growth
imperatives.Strong candidates are versatile team-players who learn
fast, have high EQ and IQ, and carry a demonstrated record of
driving workstreams.What we expect of you day-to-day:
- Lead workstreams / small projects related to multi-year
strategy for the North America foundational solutions VAS business,
which considers nuances relevant to the region (e.g., fintech
ecosystem, available payment methods, local banking regulation, mix
of digital payments, issuer ecosystem, opportunities for inorganic
growth).
- Work closely with cross-functional and regional teams on
strategic projects, bringing timely and useful insight and
analytical support.
- Support development of business cases to support prioritization
efforts.
- Support and deliver regional product roadmaps that extend
Visa's relevance beyond our core network assets.
- Build out creative and impactful solutions by integrating
insights across Visa's many expert functional resources and
supporting collaborative solution development.
- Help serve as conduit for synthesizing client feedback for
product requirement purposes to ensure "voice of the customer" is
represented.
- Serve as intake channel for sales teams' requests into
enhancements and new product prioritization efforts (including
understanding options and "true needs").
- Partner with regional Commercialization leaders to build,
execute, and monitor go-to-market motions so Solutions are easy to
sell and easy to buy.
- Support Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy development, informed by
and based on client segmentation analysis, market sizing and
competitive landscape & implications.
- Develop use-case, segment, and client-specific perspectives on
solutions that solve key client problems/needs.
- Inform pricing guidelines with market intelligence.
- Help architect client-centric joint solutions including build,
implementation, and post-launch optimization.
- Support sales teams in understanding clients' business and
technical needs and defining solutions to meet them.
- Link Issuing Solutions with other Visa Product Domains and
Client Segments (Acceptance, Risk) to provide greatest value to the
client.
- Manage day-to-day project and team activities to meet
milestones and timelines.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid
employees can alternate time between both remote and office.
Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3
set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general
guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on
business needs.Basic Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors
Degree or at least 2 years of relevant work experience with an
Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD).Preferred
Qualifications:
- 6 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's
Degree/ Masters preferred.
- Experience in and/or significant exposure to the payments
industry preferred.
- Ability to lead and manage complex workstreams or small
projects independently.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills; demonstrated
quantitative rigor.
- Proficient and ideally a power-user of spreadsheet and
presentation tools.
- Attention to detail and the ability to structure and analyse
financial, operational, and market data.
- Outstanding stakeholder management abilities at both senior and
junior levels.
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
Impeccable written and oral communication.
- Self-starter, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and

range for a new hire into this position is 138,500 to 165,000 USD
per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if
