Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director, Legal (Wealth Management)
to join their Regulatory Team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal and regulatory advice for developing and executing
the wealth management roadmap
Collaborate with Product, Investment Research, Compliance, and
Operations teams on new product launches and ongoing support
Negotiate and draft various agreements and disclosure documents for
wealth management products
Required Qualifications
Law degree with 5-8 years of experience in securities and/or
corporate law from a major Canadian law firm or in-house legal
department
Expertise in asset management, including launching private funds,
ETFs, and/or mutual funds
Familiarity with Canadian capital markets regulations
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and address
legal issues proactively
Project management and organizational skills to manage competing
priorities
