and their communities.The Clinical Application Specialist
represents the clinical end user within the Business. With clinical
qualification & experience in Radiation and/or Medical Oncology,
you will provide clinical expertise to aid in the development of
new technologies and products following the product creation
process. Additionally, you will be supporting Elekta's portfolio of
established products, including delivering new features, product
training to Elekta colleagues, handling escalated clinical
application support issues, and proactively investigating and
resolving support issues.Responsibilities:
- Assess the Customer Experience (in cooperation with the Account
Team) to determine if the customer's workflows are optimized.
- Provide clinical specialist expertise for new product and
release implementation.
- Partner with the Regional Readiness team to ensure quality
software is rolled out to our customers via the region.
- Provide clinical input to the product team during the product
creation process and ensure user needs are met.
- Interface with Product Owners/Managers, User Centered Design
team, and participate in relevant meetings to understand features
in new product/release.
- Assist Global Education and Training in development of training
materials, implementation, and support plans for new software
releases.
- Deliver clinical training and support to the regions for the
initial implementations of new releases.
- Provide relevant customer feedback on implementations of
released products in the field to relevant internal teams.
- Partner with GET and ICT to develop and deliver required
clinical training programs in a timely manner in preparation of new
releases.
- Develop product/feature demonstration under Product Manager's
guidance.
- Provide Knowledge Transfer and Regional Implementation meetings
to regional staff.
- Provide regional support teams with assistance on clinical
issues and handling escalated issues per established policies and
procedures.
- Assist the training development team by providing input in
terms of content and reviewing initial drafts.
- Provide clinical expertise and support to other departments
within the PSE team as well as other areas of the business.
- Review and understand new product features as defined by
Product Management.
- Shadow/assist the Validation teams on internal and 'customer
led' validation activities.
- Liaise with Technical Training, Service Documentation and
Product Management to manage and assist with the production of user
documentation.
- Offer clinical overviews and insight to other parts of the
organization as requested.
- Provide relevant parts of the business with information on
advances in radiation and/or medical oncology.
- Develop and suggest new ideas, systems, procedures and ventures
as directed to achieve Business Objectives.
- Maintain a continuous professional development program
(clinical or commercial).
- Provide input into marketing material.
- Undertake work as allocated and directed by your
manager.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an
individual must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of
the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Employees must be
able to read, speak, write and comprehend the English language.
- BSc degree (or equivalent) in Health Care, Nursing or similar
fields is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years clinical experience using MOSAIQ. (Radiation
Oncology and Medical Oncology)
- Knowledge of/experience with other Elekta applications; EG,
Elekta One Smart Flow, Smart View, and Analytics.
- Must be self-motivated and able to interact well with others.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and presentation skills are key
to success in this position.
- Excellent written, verbal and IT communication skills.
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally up to
