ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIESSet up banquet and event spaces according to the provided floor plans and specificationsEnsure all tables, chairs, linens, and other event equipment are arranged correctlyGreet and assist guests upon arrival, providing information about the event and venue facilitiesServe food and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional mannerMonitor and replenish food and beverage stations to ensure a continuous and high-quality serviceCollaborate with the kitchen and catering staff to coordinate timing of food serviceClear tables and clean up after events, ensuring a neat and organized event spaceHandle guest requests and concerns promptly and professionallyWork closely with the event coordinator to ensure seamless execution of eventsAdhere to all health and safety regulations while performing dutiesMaintain a positive and customer-focused attitude throughout the eventAssist with event breakdown and cleanup after the conclusion of the eventAttend pre-event meetings and trainings as requiredFollow proper uniform and grooming standards for a polished and professional appearanceStay informed about menu items and special dietary requests to accurately communicate information to guests.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSHigh School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.Previous experience as a banquet server or in a similar hospitality roleStrong knowledge of banquet and event service proceduresExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment----Hotel Villagio & Vintage House offer an attractive compensation and benefits package and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team.The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this job.
