AI seeks a data generalist to support a diverse set of stakeholders
with Data and Analytics needs. We are a small team, and this is a
great opportunity for someone who wants to deliver a big impact:
you will operate on the intersection of Data Infrastructure, Data
Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, and ML Ops. You will work
with transit agencies, the customer success team, finance, product,
company executives, and, last but not least, engineers. You will
enable all of them to get their data questions answered in a timely
manner with a high accuracy.Responsibilities
- Proficiency in creating interactive dashboards and
visualizations using tools such as Tableau or similar
platforms.
- Experience in designing data stories that effectively
communicate insights.
- Database Management:
- Expertise in SQL for querying, cleaning, and transforming
data.
- Familiarity with working on relational and non-relational
databases.
- ETL and Data Integration:
- Experience in data extraction, transformation, and loading
(ETL) processes.
- Ability to connect and integrate data
sources.Qualifications
- Programming and Data Manipulation:
- Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation.
- Familiarity with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and
Matplotlib/Seaborn.
- Statistical Analysis:
- Knowledge of statistical methods and their application to
business problems.
- Familiarity with Cloud environments.Bonus
- Communication:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to translate
technical findings into actionable insights for non-technical
audiences.
- Adept at storytelling with data to drive decisions for the
growth team.
- Interpersonal Skills:
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams,
particularly engineering and growth teams.
- Ability to actively listen and address the needs of
stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving:
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to troubleshooting
data-related issues.
- Innovative thinking to uncover insights and improve
