Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Open Source Engineer to drive
the extensibility of their core product through tool development
and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical direction and architecture for open-source
projects that enhance integration with the core product
Build, maintain, and release projects that integrate with developer
tools like VS Code and JetBrains
Mentor internal and external contributors on contribution best
practices
Required Qualifications
4+ years of full-stack coding experience in a professional
setting
Strong proficiency in TypeScript
Some experience with Go and shell scripting
An active presence in open-source communities (e.g., GitHub,
GitLab)
Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, TCP, TLS, SSH,
HTTP)
