candidates with administrative and international program experience
interested in joining a collaborative, mission-driven team. The
Center for Innovation in Global Health seeks a Program Coordinator
to provide administrative, operational and event planning support
for the Program. This new program offers training opportunities at
Stanford for physicians from all across Africa. This program will
allow African partners to come to Stanford to gain skills in
specific clinical or quality improvement areas and then return to
their home institution to implement a year-long quality improvement
project to improve health outcomes. This program enables Stanford
to offer a truly equitable global health education program, expand
bilateral opportunities, build African institutional capacity, and
engage meaningfully with our international partners. The SASH
Program Coordinator will lead administrative support for the SASH
Program Manager and other senior members of the CIGH team. This
includes prioritizing duties, handling time sensitive requests from
multiple staff simultaneously, reaching out to stakeholders and
finalizing documents, or contacting the appropriate departments to
obtain information and resolve issues. Program Coordinator duties
will include coordinating with suppliers on housing,
transportation, and meals for the visiting scholars and processing
all financial transactions related to the program. Duties will also
include coordinating pre-arrival planning and logistics,
coordinating and organizing each scholar's schedule while they are
here, making sure to cater each schedule to the individual needs
and interests of the scholar. The Program Coordinator will also
manage the application and interview process for the program,
pending grant renewal in 2026. The Program Coordinator will also
lead logistics for events related to the program - in-person events
on the Stanford campus, virtual and in-person orientations for
scholars and mentors, and a large convening of scholars and mentors
to be held in collaboration with a host university in East Africa
in late 2026. The Program Coordinator will arrange travel in
compliance with University guidance, including complex itineraries
and reservations for scholars coming from Africa and for staff
traveling to Africa. Other duties related to travel will include
collecting and tracking important required program and travel
documents and assisting scholars with visa matters. The Program
Coordinator will also be expected to provide flexible support to
the CIGH team as miscellaneous administrative tasks arise.
Knowledge of continuing medical education, program evaluation
and/or clinical capacity building is desirable. Organized,
detail-oriented, dynamic, and tech-savvy individuals interested in

for Global Health Education and is hybrid with 2-3 days on-site in
Palo Alto with the possibility of more days in person when the
